     The City of Santa Maria Community Development Department recently released the January 2010 development lists. The three lists identify the information about Residential, Non-Residential, and Mixed Use development projects in the City. MORE

Used Needle Disposal Drop-Off Available to Residents
     Residents can transport and drop off properly contained home-generated hypodermic needles, pen needles, intravenous needles, and lancets at the Santa Maria Regional Landfill’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility located at 2065 East Main Street. MORE

Historical Photo Essay on Display at the Library
     The Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to host a historical photo essay focusing on those members of the Central Coast community who are of African American heritage (1884-1970s). This exhibit is a part of the Library’s celebration of African American Heritage month. MORE
