The City of Santa Maria has two sources of supply; imported State Water and local groundwater. Although the City has more local groundwater than it needs to meet water demand in the City, imported State Water is used to improve the quality of the water
delivered to your home or office. State Water availability is carefully balanced with water quality and demand to provide the most consistent water quality to the City throughout the year.
Water service is mandatory in the City of Santa Maria. Visit the City of Santa Maria Department of Administrative Services at 110 East Cook Street, Room 6 to start all of your City services.
